Hey it’s Paris (11 yo) here,
OMG where to start on Paris. I know, at the beginning – the very best place to start. I guess I should start when we got off the plane.
We got off the plane (Singapore Airlines, my new fave air company ’cause they give you free food whenever you want) 14 hours after we got on. It was really weird because it seemed much shorter than the last time we were on a really long flight even though it was 2 hours shorter. Anyways when we got off, we went in a taxi for an hour :( but our taxi driver was really nice and energetic which by the way I think is amazing for some one at 8:30 am.
When we got out of the taxi we got ALL of our stuff and got out of the car. We looked up and up and up at the apartment 6 storeys high and, of course we are on the top floor – 105 steps up. Every time we have to go anywhere 105 steps down and when we get back from climbing up the hill that our apartment is on, our climbing journey is not done. We still have 105 steps to climb! I now am starting to get crazy leg muscles and we have only been here for 4 days. This is going to be a loooong month but I don’t mind ’cause I love it here!!!
Ok so you’re prob wondering ‘when on earth is this crazy girl going to tell us anything about Paris? Well I am going to tell you now!!
The first famous thing I saw was with SWMBO and Onlyboy. There is this store that sells stuffed animals. Like real stuffed animals. As in dead things that were once alive and breathing. Thinking about that made me feel like humans are cruel. But then SWMBO read a sign (I could not ’cause it was in French if you can believe that) that said “all exotic animals here died of natural causes in zoos and circuses” and I was happy that people didn’t go out and shoot them. The store is called Deyrolle and you aren’t allowed to take pictures in there but here are a few pictures from their website.
There was some really cool animals in there: peacocks, elephants, deer, butterflys, bugs (:P), horses, hogs, a lion, a giraffe, a bear and much much more. It was super cool. I don’t know about you but I have never seen a hog’s head on the floor.
Then the next famous thing I saw was Harry Styles!!!!! JK though I wish I did. The next famous thing I saw was the EIFFLE TOWER!!!!!!!! And it does not look like the Eiffle bridge in Vietnam even if you squint. At all. No photo of that because my ipod was dead but:
So if you want to have an AMAZING VC then I recommend Paris. Just make sure you don’t get the apartment on the 6th floor (105 steps high)!
Wishing you the best of luck on anything you might be doing – your driver’s test, trying to pull off a 3 layered cake or your hard math test.
Well I have go now. Ugh, now I’m craving macarons AND a 3 layered cake.
